I was at this concert despite not being a Bowie fan but after seeing the spectical and hearing his and the spiders performance I was completely won over.
The sheer theatre of the show put all other concerts in the shade coz at the time bands were self indulgent and introspective doing half hour guitar solos and drum solos. Bowie/Ronson & Co. moved it all up a gear and rocked the place in sound & vision I was in seat B6 and lived to tell the tail! Ronson played a gold top Les Paul thro a 200watt Marshall amp into a 4x12 cabinet and sounded great DB did several costume changes including a nifty jap Komomo, the Ziggy bit and many more. Ive seen most big name bands and nothing has come close to this one
