Way To Go! I tasted the extra honey in the air of seeing the touts get foiled by the unexpected release of withheld tickets. And I got to go!
The gig? Intimate to say the least! A stadium sized rig in a vaudville sized venue, two and a half hours of JOY!!! Jesus, how does the man just keep getting better???!!!!

The second best concert I was ever at (for the best, see the previous night comments). Also, thanks Dave for making Paddy's night by waving and pointing at him as you sang "You little wonder, little wonder you". Full review at a later date

Some interesting incidents during this amazing second night in Dublin.
First of all there was a great deal of interaction between Bowie and Iman up in the box. Especially during Fashion. Joey was there too and seemed to have a great time. (Incidentally Iman seat-dances like a pugilist).
Secondly Bowie's sheer professionalism when dealing with a chick who threw Bowie up her top and danced topless was astounding - commenting on her body and giving her a dose of fifteen minutes before throwing back her clothes (during LTYSD).
Thirdly Reeves screwed up the intro to Stay and stomped the stage with frustration. However he recovered well.
Slan,
Sean.

Another great night...the set was similar to Fridays except for the encore which went like this.....1. Pallas Athene 2. Dead Man Walking (One of the Dance versions) 3. Oh Superman 4. V2 Schneider 5. White Light White Heat 6. Voyeur of utter destruction 7. Moonage Daydream
Can I just add that in my opinion it's time that the pre 1980's fans either get up to date or stay at home as I had the misfortune of being seated among a group of socialites who really had not a clue about Outside or Earthling and were rather bemused during the encore....A waste of seats. I think......
On a more positive note, David, if you're reading this, it was only me(in the Zippy tee-shirt) following your car as it weaved its way around Temple Bar after the Gig..Thanks for the wave!!!!..........
Also Gail, Mike Garson and Zach walked from the venue to their Hotel chatting and posing for pictures for anyone who wanted them, a great personal touch and appreciated by the small number of fans gathered outside.
