I was quite lucky. I'd visited to London only a week for my holidays. On the day I'd arrived, I heard about the show (9th Aug.). My friend took me to a ticket shop in Leicester Square. And finally we could buy tickets! Ugh! Expensive! But I didn't mind because the show was quite nice. I have ever seen his show over 15 times in Japan, and I can say the latest one was almost the best for me. This is the first time to see him in London. He was so relax, there is some differences from in Japan. Anyhow it was the best memory of my holidays in this year, of course.

This was the best gig I have ever been to. The perfect balance between old and new. The atmosphere was electric, not to mention the performance! I look forward to future gigs David (and don't say you're going to give up touring now)... Did anyone see the review of the Shepherd's Bush gig in the Sunday Telegraph (17/08/97)...Not a bad review for the paper at all! EXCELLENT STUFF DAVID!

Wow! Best Bowie gig I've been to in a while. Some guy summed it up - "Last time I saw Bowie was 18 years ago at Hammersmith. The old boy's still got in him now. He was great"!

Absolutely fantastic !!! The first time i've seen Bowie live (seeing i am only 21, this is hardly surprising). The Velvets covers were much a fave, plus 'Queen Bitch'.All in all a faultless show, well done David.

This was the best that I have ever seen David. He and the band were brilliant. Words fail me. I can't believe that he will receive a bad review from anyone. But you know the British Press. Well done David it was absolutely superb. Can't wait for the next time.

"I've got Gnome Power" Don't know what it is but he just seems to get better and better. Fifth time in as many weeks, and the setlist just keeps improving. Queen Bitch, Waiting for the Man, V2 Schnieder did it for me. The Last Think You Should Do, should play it far more often. Looking forward to 1998.

THIS SHOW WAS FAR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL START DATES AT HANOVER GRAND. FROM THE SET LIST - YES "TELLING LIES" WAS NOT IN THE SET AND JUST TO ADD THAT HE SUNG A "BLUES" INTRO SONG BEFORE GOING INTO JEAN GENIE. THE FIRST 5 NUMBERS WERE AS INTRO INTO THE SHOW WERE THE BEST I'VE SEEN FOR WARMING THE CROWD UP. IT WAS NOTICABLE THAT IN THE FIRST BALCONY WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO DID NOT GET UP AND JOIN IN AND I WONDERED IF THEY WERE ON FREEBIE TICKETS JUST TO BE SEEN THERE. IMAN SEEMED TO ENJOY THE SHOW AND THERE WERE SEVERAL GESTURES DIRECTED FROM DAVID TO HER THROUGHOUT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DAVID. SEE YOU NEXT TIME. GERALD

Hi! It was a GREAT show - good atmosphere, but a bit 'london', ie too many shop dummies, but overall - FANTASTIC! he didn't do 'telling lies' b.t.w. Iman and Coco were there getting on down and Bowie kept looking at her when the soppy lines were sung. You guys in the US have it all to come, lucky buggers.

What a superb show.. Similar set to the Dublin shows including V2 Schneider, All the Young Dudes etc. Highlights for me - Queen Bitch, I'm Afraid Of Americans, O Superman Lowlights for me - Reeves' green eye liner... Bowie seemed to be really enjoying himself, very chatty with the crowd. Spotted Mrs Bowie sitting in the opposite balcony, she too was really enjoying her husbands performance. The best so far David... Bring on "The Contamination Tour" Love on ya Pete Falkus
