On May 24, 1999, in a worldwide cybercast event, Bowie recorded What's Really Happening live in the studio accompanied by the winner of the cybersong contest, Alex Grant. For over 3 hours, we heard Bowie recording vocals, followed by Reeves recording various guitar solos, interspersed with food and cigarette breaks. In addition we also saw Mark Plati working his magic in the sound studio. |
