Poetry and Purpose. (kept) new

Thankyou for reading, and commenting upon, my poems, since Thursday. I believe it takes one person to start a revolution, and millions for that revolution to flourish. If you have faith in me, and wish to join me in artistic endeavours, Iíll require your first name, and e-mail address.

You can read three of my poems on this forum. They're entitled: "Wrought", "May Day", and "Can You Hear It?".

This thread is kept on Dukewhite's request because of the entertainment value, and the occasional serious discussion about the nature of art. However, this thread remain locked because I'm a mod-rights abusing bastard.

My dear Anotherpoet,

Thank you for sharing your verse over the last week. I truly enjoyed your highly individual style, which I believe heralds a new era in poetry, indeed, a "revolution" as you said. I certainly look forward to joining your club to share our poetry, lunch and maybe more.

Name: Hannibal Lecter
Email: hlecter@graffiti.net

Yours passionately,
Hannibal

Thankyou, Mr Lecter. The revolution I'm referring to isn't a poetic one, but thanks for deeming my poetry revolutionary (*blushes*). Glad you like it :>)

White Prismís guide on etiquette new [re: anotherpoet]

Bumping is prohibited (especially on threads as wanky as this one. )

If no one responds, it's because we couldn't give a flying fuck.

Can we ban him yet?

Weave a circle round him thrice,
And close your eyes with holy dread

I just thought it meant Hannibal had killed him and ate him?

Believe everything I say, especially the lies.

That's nonsense. I'm earning more respect in the: "May Day" thread now, than when it began. If this thread can't be seen on the first page, less people are inclined to read it.

Never the less, bumping threads for no other purpose than bumping is a breach to TW etiquette. There are several other artists here in addition to yourself, whose work also deserved to be seen on the front page.
