I can't speak for Kennel Club purebreds, but I know the Jack Russell Association requires that there be at least 5 generations apart in any possible relationship to each animal.
As they don't want the inbreeding issues that other breeds have. And they want no part of the Kennel Club either, that's why they formed their own association.

Which is probably why Jack Russells ( or Parson Russells) continue to be one of the most intelligent dogs out there( we won't discuss the rebelliousness of them though )

Good for those poor creatures. My experiences with Collies are unfortunately somewhat nastier. The vile bastards known as the breeders are hellbound to make the dogs' heads narrower and longer by the means of in- and linebreeding, which has lead to some fairly interesting diseases. The dog I had for well over a decade suffered from pancreal failure (just like the rest of his "relatives") but this wasn't such a big deal since they were all bloody pedigree winners!
Just a while ago my mother mentioned getting a new dog from the same breeder! Naturally the idea of getting a "mutt" is beyond considering. Hopefully my cats will put the poor creature out of its misery...

Effee is a fucking dog. Of course she would've been interested in sex - or at least in procreation. She's an animal, with animal needs - or she was until you thrust your own fucked up mentality upon her.

Not morons but shall we say over enthusiastic owners who like to show their pets and of course breed them.

Effee is a pure breed Cairn Terrier, over the years the hybrid formed from Cairns was the West Highland White, or Westie as they are called, they can suffer from arthritis later in life and skin complaints, Effee herself has a skin complaint, she has an allergic reaction to certain grasses in summer time.

I decided against breeding her, considering it not fair on her, besides she is a one off.

Not surprising though. When dogz first registered here, he also talked a lot about the superiority of his own breeding being half German and half English.
