It's only a matter of time before some of us get some points and start making this contest more exciting.
They say it happens in threes, but what about this strange combination: Johnny Cochrine (or however you spell it), Terri Schiavo, and The Pope.
There's a few "gates of heaven" jokes there, I'd hope.

Well, it looks like Kristen Machina is winning this thing with 37 points. With Arlequino, Dara, and myself picking up our first 16 points (and KM adding 16 to her previous 21) from Pope John Paul II's death.
But it's only April, ladies and gentlemen. We still have a good 8 months to watch them drop and rack up the points.

I'm too lazy to do the math but it looks like EJSunday won. Best was a good call.
""Looking for love, not sex" -- the tagline of many a troll who doesn't believe they are worthy or capable of sex in its own right, but god, the thought of carrying that sort of middling self-esteem all the way to 36 is disturbing."

Yeah. And doesn't that simply show Best's magnificence: Even in the man's death lies a win.
And I want to believe that a light's shining through somehow
