If we ever meet up we certainly won't let chubby creepy old perverts in the know.

Adam's Real Estate Speculation Corner new [re: diamondogz74]

If I'm not mistaken, the new restaurant is located at the far end of Heddon street as depicted on the Ziggy cover. Judging from the website, it now has a modernised lower level. This follows a trend of the recent 5-10 years in which the dining areas of the 'west end' have gradually encroached upon Heddon Street. Unfortunately, this 'urban renewal' has obliterated much of the abandoned laneway/wharehouse feel of the Ziggy streetscape. At the same time, it has brought much more people into the area - particularly at night. Unfortunately, the ziggy site remains uncommemorated save for some grafitti strewn by fans on the old phone box. As I suggested in 2001 to my then current girlfriend, a wealthy music fan ought to buy the office directly above the ziggy doorway (I think it's an architect firm) and make it a bar/nightclub.

the meet up new [re: diamondogz74]

As for the record, the London meet up went ahead. It was myself and sonofsilence sitting at a bar. Another meetup occurred a month later with a vastly increased attendance when p2c joined us.

Hmm. That kinda sucks for those of us who live in the Americas.

Well, my sister and father live there, so that would be convenient. My sister smokes the ganja and her boyfriend is from Humbolt County, so the hookups are nice. Lots of things to do there, too. Thai 'massages' for $100 and it's legal so there's nothing wrong with that. I'm thinking March.

Assuming for one second here that you're being serious, and assuming for another you can get this off the ground with the likes of Guiltpuppy in attendance, then I'm in.

Re: When we eventually all meet up? new [re: Shelle]

Fuck, even if it's a couple of people, Vegas is an entertaining enough city on its own.

It would have to be well after February for me since I'm fairly poor and have to fart out $1500 to be best man at my friend's wedding at Disney World.

But that gives us time to nigger-rig something mildly worth attending. Perhaps summer or fall of 2006? I know summer is a bitch in Vegas, heat-wise, but I doubt any of us would be spending much time in the elements - during the day.

So while I was somewhat joking, if there is a genuine interest by a couple of people I would put forth the small amount of effort it would take to put it together. One could always simply saddle up to a blackjack table if it proves to be a flop.

Yah, but it's better if it's the right couple of people.

Vegas is great, it's like what America would be if the mob had won, which is to say infinitely better, more fun and less hypocritical. But you don't want to be stuck there with a non-drinker, or someone who gets offended by nekidness.

K people, anyone interested in joining me and the Monkey in Vegas for a weekend of righteous debauchery?
