If I'm not mistaken, the new restaurant is located at the far end of Heddon street as depicted on the Ziggy cover. Judging from the website, it now has a modernised lower level. This follows a trend of the recent 5-10 years in which the dining areas of the 'west end' have gradually encroached upon Heddon Street. Unfortunately, this 'urban renewal' has obliterated much of the abandoned laneway/wharehouse feel of the Ziggy streetscape. At the same time, it has brought much more people into the area - particularly at night. Unfortunately, the ziggy site remains uncommemorated save for some grafitti strewn by fans on the old phone box. As I suggested in 2001 to my then current girlfriend, a wealthy music fan ought to buy the office directly above the ziggy doorway (I think it's an architect firm) and make it a bar/nightclub.

As for the record, the London meet up went ahead. It was myself and sonofsilence sitting at a bar. Another meetup occurred a month later with a vastly increased attendance when p2c joined us.
