Last week on one of our breakfast television programme's ( GMTV ) they had video footage of Lapland in Finland, the snow was incredibly deep, mind you it looked beautiful.

nov. 16 was our first snow in chicago. that projects to 4 months of snow. only one snowfall of several inches so far, though

It is fucking cold here. -15 degrees. It is quite safe to say that we will have a white christmas. And there is way enough snow at the moment too.

The weather forecasters say temperature will rise above zero and we'll have rain (in the worm of water) on Christmas Eve, at least in the south of Finland.

My lord! now that's what you call a magnificent snowman

We are expecting some very heavy snow showers in Norfolk today and tomorrow, so If I see a snowman? I'll be sure to photograph him.

It has started to snow this morning and by now Berlin is pretty nicely covered with snow. Like that.

And I want to believe that a light's shining through somehow

Why don't you build one yourself? It was surprisingly fun. And it only took three people to lift the middle ball on top of the bottom one!

They give odd looks where I live, If I were to build a snowman! I might be ostracised , seriously though Kati, there's only me at home during the day, I work mostly nights and my partner would not participate in building a snowman, much preferring to be indoors in the warm.

But if some local children build one? I will sure to photograph him
