Not bad, not bad! Although "obrustam" is "I grow over", "pripada" means "it seems" & "zamiloval jsem se" is simply "I fell in love".

Unfortunately, I've forgotten both my username and my password, so there won't be a great deal of updating until I manage to get my mac connected to my home connection, or, failing that, until I get back to uni. If only I could work out how to set up connections properly on macs!
later, Chris...

ts a cool way for me to keep in contact with poeple or family havnt seen in ages, like my cousin Layna, who I hadnt actually talked to since, about, 5. I saw her in a local store a while back but didnt talk..
If I were, like, William Gibson or something, I'd say this was a gorgeous example of how technology is corrupting our ability to communicate on a person-to-person level.
I have TW and a Friendster account, which is more than enough talking about myself.

LOL true. But she was working in the store; looked rather busy. I wasn't about to bother her with "remember me?" when she had to deal with the cranky old lady in the express lane.

On the contrary: I've always gotten along quite well with my own cousin whenever we saw each other, but for most of our lives, that was pretty rarely. When I started college, she moved to the same city to go to law school, and we met up on a regular basis that first year, but then contact dropped off, and we reverted back to only seeing each other on family occasions.
But then I made her get a livejournal, and immediately we started getting a lot more involved in each other's lives. Now I've moved away, but we see each other whenever I get back in town, and call each other every other day or so. And thatnks to livejournal, we always have something to talk about, because we keep up with our respective daily lives and interests that way. So I'd say technology improved my interpersonal interactions.
