We've had RIDICULOUS amounts in the last month. Maybe close to ten feet. And it has been extremely cold, going down to -31 C last week. Usually our town is prepared for such a thing, but the roads have been shit the whole time. I drive a Lincoln Town Car which is the antithesis for driving in such conditions . Luckily I haven't been in an accident, but I have seen a lot of close calls and collisions plus a lot of vehicles in ditches. It's great for the skiers and snowboarders, though, since outdoor sports is huge here and we have 3 ski mountains within 40 miles. And if you have never been to Yellowstone National Park in the winter it is a treat. I worked there for one winter and the sights are magical to the eyes. This year, though, i am hating the bitter cold and shit roads, so I hope this winter passes quickly with an early arrival of spring. The sprinkling you got, is nice and those are wonderful pictures, though. But when your body parts become near paralized and your skin stings, it's a different story. And you need to learn a lot of patience to make due with these extreme conditions in my part of the world.

My lord! how terrible, the UK comes to a standstill with an inch of snow, we have lots to learn from countries who have heavy snowfalls.
Let's hope the spring arrives soon

Rrr... I love snow, but we never get it over here in Southern California! I've only seen snow ONCE, when I went to my late paternal grandparents' cabin in Colorado when I was five. I was a short little bugger (still am), so my dad had to carry me through it. It would have gone right over my head!
Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelt of elderberries!!

It's been finally snowing here in Prague, hope it stays at least 'til Christmas day. On the other hand, I've had enough snow last month, backpacking in local mountains:
