I return after 2 and a half years in the wilderness. Some people say I was in prison but I actually forgot my password and the internet provider I was on at the time knackered my computer up and I couldn't access certain websites. I have had to set up a new account with a new user name.

Indeed. I don't seem to have much control over the fact that I'm a weirdly-moody and nostalgic bastard, so I've been lurking on here a bit lately. It mainly happens if, for some reason, I'm sitting up alone in bed in the early hours of the morning. For example, it's 3AM here right now, and I'm on TW. I find myself typing the url as if by instinct.

And, in a rapidly-changing world (bla bla), there's something almost uncanny about popping on here and seeing TW just as I remember it. It's like internet time travel. These forums were before YouTube or Facebook.

I think I come here trying to re-experience something of my misspent youth. But I usually wind up feeling a bit depressed, because it ain't what it used to be.
