With one day to go, nominations are flooding in to honour one of the most thrilling, fun-packed years in TW's history.

I, myself, have whittled down my shortlist to just one candidate (clue: his name begins with 'P', and no, it ain't that paedo with the moustache) which I shall reveal in due course.

Fuck Percy or any other poster with a name beginning with P: I'm nominating myself for my brilliant return to fulltime posting after a 3-4 year absence and bringing some class to this disaster and K for banning... you know, that blonde guy.

P-pppffff! Well, sure, Percy's FAB!, as a certain former acolyte would say, but I was thinkin' of Phoenix who had a terrific spell a few months ago, even though he's gone all awkward and silent again of late.

R/R is certainly a worthy winner of Comeback of the Year, so I consider his self-nomination justified. (A second award for lifetime achievement to poetry threads is also merited -- or at least it might be if anyone actually read any of his stuff. )

Stainless_One for the (only) newbie of the year -- I'm yet to see how the Saddam thread pans out, but he can punctuate properly, which is about as much as we dare to ask for in the first 100 posts.

I'm sure there are other categories to be filled, such as most graphic genital photograph of the year, but I'll leave them for now . . .
