Yesterday in the music store, I noticed that Travis have a new one titled The Boy With No Name - apparantly their first since 2003's 12 Memories. Anyone have it?

I've got to admit that the guy who sits across from me at work has been playing Sky Blue Sky for the last month or so, and I've grown to like it enough that I actually bought it over the weekend.

I still felt pretty wussy about it, though, so I finally repurchased Master of Puppets along with the new solo outing by Prodigy of Mobb Deep at the same time.

They let the retard in the game and he went wild.

Yes, I got it a few weeks ago. I vaguely remembered not thinking much of 12 Memories and was pleasantly surprised by this one, which is quite good.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Travis and really like their version Britney’s Baby One More Time. Of course they’ve also covered All The Young Dudes and Heroes.

McCartney's Memory Almost Full is due on June 5.

It sounds pretty shallow / naive to my ears......even by McCartney's standards.

Both Crowded House and The Smashing Pumpkins have released their comeback songs this week. The Crowdies 'Don't Stop Now' can be heard on their myspace site. Meanwhile, someone has uploaded the Pumpkins 'Tarantula' here on youtube.
