Can we be friends anymore? :-(

I had been considering going down to see the queue because, even though I don't like the books at all, I thought it would be fun to see those people and share in their excitement. And I'm all up for dressing up and children's things. (Mika fan, you know.)

I mean, I waiting in the queue on the opening night of Star Wars III with a friend despite having no intention to see the movie. When the doors opened, I left. (Ironically, I had been offered free tickets by some people by that time, since I'd been chatting with everyone on line for the last few hours and all.)

But seriously, I don't think Bowie fans have any room to mock people for dressing funny.

I like Harry Potter, but I am actually really put off when so much hype is created over these things. I would like to read the book and maybe see the film but I also would like to leave it at that, rather than seeing and hearing about it everywhere. Im sure its a great book again though.

I've never been to a Harry Potter party, but I'm assuming that is the most fun you could have at one... making fun of everyone else.

I love the books, but I'm not obsessed with them. I planned to go to Borders the night it came out so I could understand all the hype surrounding these parties. There were way too many kids and their parents dressed-up and wearing stickers that said "Snape will betray" or "Snape will be loyal," I ended up leaving and going to a bar.

Ended up at wal-mart around 3 AM, can't remember how I got there... waited in line for a half an hour and got a free slytherin jelly armband with the book. I still want to know why the line was so long, especially at a wal-mart out in the sticks. I didn't know hillbillies could read.

Book was good. Epilogue was awful.

Yeah, but when I write stuff like that I'm pretty much expecting you to mock me. Heck, it's largely why I do it. It's kind of disappointing when you don't, after I provide you with such a lead-in.

Maybe I should cater more to guiltpuppy.
