Haha... True as that may be... about Richards... he's just embalmed from all the drugs he's taken over the years. That's what has kept him alive!

Re: Yesterday, when I was young new [re: JarethsGirl]

On Saturday, I bought tickets for upcoming shows by 67 year old Irma Thomas, 80 year old Burt Bacharach and The Persuasions (combined age around 350).

@ JarethsGirl: while I can understand complains on non-Bowie boards (received one of those), your response leads me to conclude that my avatar is just about right for Daddy's

Yes well, I myself prefer to have my stomach turned by the thoughts and ideas floating around TW rather than the visuals, but I suppose in traditional tubgirl fashion your avatar is indeed just one of the gang.

If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

One better new [re: Adam]

Fuck that. Les Paul is fucking 93 and still plays weekly at a club in New York.

Pretty amazing. I know his name from the association with the electric guitar (Ronson's choice of axe --> a Gibson Les Paul). His music seems to go back to the 1930s as well.

The king of the blues, BB King, is in the middle of a major tour and is 83 years old.

While I'm at it. A few more notables:
Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Patty Labelle are all 62 years old and all three has currently released albums and all are touring.

Of course Tiny is 70 something and is going on tour this month.

I'm happy, hope you're happy too.

No WW. Sometimes I finish posts hours after starting them - as I usually keep 20-30 "windows" open on my computer at once.

That's more windows than Mr. Newton had screens in TMWFTE.
You might as well wire up your brain for science.
