You brought my attention to him on this thread.
At that time, I was thinking he must have been the world's oldest living - and still performing - popular musician. He was 4 years older than Pete Seeger who turned 90 in May this year.
A mate of mine has a Les Paul guitar. Perhaps he will play it today.

I'm happy to have gotten some points (23), although I'm a bit annoyed with myself for picking someone someone else had already picked. I didn't notice Ted Kennedy on like three people's lists when I picked mine.
