Oh sweet fucking Christ, what did I do to offend you this time?

And do you go out of your way to return to message boards that you barely even frequent anymore to address all Sunday morning shits or just this particular one? Admit it, I'm at least an interesting shit if I'm a shit.

Now who gets a kitten? Who gets one? That's right, you do!

Alright, then what crawled up your ass this time? (second time I'm asking, mind you).

I just assumed that you were jumping in out of support for someone there or for the actual "there." Was this just a random drive-by? Just a thought you had? Did you wake up yesterday and think: "hey, I have a good idea! I think I'll pick a fight with Monkeyboy."? (Not that I'm particularly menacing but we both know that you are a lightweight at best.)

There has to be some reason why you started this thread. But instead of following through and stating what that reason is, you're behaving like a passive aggressive little girl. Not that I'm at all shocked, I just feel that it should be mentioned. You know, because I like to tell people exactly why they are cunts rather than simply throwing it out in vague terms and hiding while I feel like a "big man" for "speaking my mind." See, I feel that when I present a person's cuntiness as a clear and complete opinion with case and effect-type stuff, I rarely have to call them a cunt when I'm done because the picture will have been painted - or at least outlined. Consider this paragraph an example of this. (hint: he's calling you a cunt.)

Clearly you care enough to share in the first place so have out with it. Pretty please with rainbows and sugarpuppies?

Think again!

why are places like these boards a magnet for Xenophobics and homophobics?

Re: Alright, someone PM me if I'm really out of line new [re: Quills]

Well, Quills, if sos still thinks that my posts are generated by any real homophobia or xenophobia then he's an idiot and there's no reasoning with him. I've made my case several times explicitly and implicitly so (again, if he's referring to me) it's clear that he's the one who is seeing things fly over his head.

Besides, I've toned down the fake racism and mock adolescent homophobia a lot in recent years so for him to complain about it now is stupid. If he's talking about me. Which he clearly isn't because I'm not a "character."

it wasn't aimed at you at BWW, I was talking generally. This place like alot of the internet there is a strong sense of all phobias. besides there are alot of people on this board specifically way worst than yourself. No names mentioned. I am not here to stir . Though I understand that this may have come across like that. this post just presented it self to me as a venting moment.

you are a character but i'm sure in real life you would never say those things....well maybe. how do I know?

In reply to:

Right. I keep forgetting that I'm only here to make you fucknuts laugh with fart jokes, non-sequitors, and Sambo dances. That's the real problem: I keep forgetting my place and expressing real opinions, having actual discussions with all the "important" posters. You know the ones who, while totally uninteresting, remain achingly on-topic and keep the humor down to the proper minimum of bad puns, "chummy" passive-aggressiveness, and shitty lyric references.

I'm not entirely joking when I say that it probably is my fault for assuming that some of you are actually decent people and are able to see that a person can be entertaining and be a real person with real opinions. For some people, three dimensions to a personality is about five too many.

In the end - and I mean this with the utmost sincerity - it's people like you, sos, who are missing out on a lot and I hope that you can fix that some day.

In the meantime: yeah, you're just a dick. I guess it really bothers me because I thought that you weren't. Hell, I actually liked you. You've just proven yourself to fundamentally un-likeable and probably a fairly horrible person who if I looked too closely in the eyes would start slowly sucking out my will to live. Not that my opinion matters to you - I understand that now. Humbly. Sir. But - and this is just silly me trying to express some human thoughts and feelings so whatever - I just thought it would be "right" of me to let you know.

I don't even know why I'm holding out hope and thinking that you might read these words and give them any real thought. Of course you won't. Again: my fault. And I can't say that I totally blame you, given my posting history. But still, I tend to think that it just takes a very special sort of asshole to try so hard to not re-examine or reconsider the tiny little cubby holes that you shoved them in years ago, especially when they are asking you to. I guess here I'm speaking more generally than about you specifically. But I'm certainly not excluding you either. Not by a long shot.

Holy shit. I forgot you were a photographer. That explains everything, actually. Photographers are assholes (so are dancers and most pianists, so you aren't alone). Really, it's my fault for forgetting. Of course you'll never see my point of view, you're too busy pretending to be a real artist.

How so? I'm not looking to start an argument or to stir controversy. I'm merely expressing my opinion that photographers are assholes and that photography isn't an art form. Can't a person express their opinion without people assuming anything or reading anything into it?

We should be celebrating diversity, as you said on BWW. That's all I'm doing. Adding some diversity of opinion. Since photography is an easy thing to start doing, a lot of uncreative dicks like to take it up so that they can feel like they are "creating" something when they really aren't. Why can't they just accept that they have nothing new to add to the greater cultural conversation? That's my opinion. I'm not trying to start an argument with it.

Photography is not an art, bodybuilding isn't a sport, and the Green party will never win an election. These are all just my opinions.

Loosen up, man.

SOS, don't go the way of Pablo. Those were some sad months when he started taking every little thing so damn serious.

As for Monkeyboy being a character, I've had the opportunity to talk to him on the phone and his messenger board voice is very similar to his actual voice if you catch my drift. If anyone takes his jokes as xenophobic or homophobic, they are taking it to the PC, nazi extreme. Not to kiss his ass anymore, but I think he is beyond the world of condescending racism that people think is non racist. That is so 1990's, bra.

Well, Brian, I'm the old boy of these message boards and I hail from a much less indulgent generation of peoples who had to make their mark in life through sheer grit & determination as opposed to the 'want it all on a plate' pampered & spineless creatures of today. As a consequence I've garnered much sapience along the way, and albeit a hell of a tough journey at times, I feel fortunate to be able to share my wisdom with weaker generations and well-intentioned lesser mortals.
