Top Gun director Tony Scott is dead at 68. He jumped 365 feet to his death? Bummer. Early reports claim that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
Although I haven't been impressed by much of anything Tony Scott has directed for a while, he's got some good, underrated films on his filmography - Beverly Hills Cop II, The Last Boy Scout, and True Romance. Crimson Tide was an OK flick, if memory serves. And Scott directed Bowie in The Hunger.
