Tim Tebow is an American football player (a quarterback - highest profile position on a team) who is also a demonstrative christian. He does stuff like put John 3:16 stickers on his face, and he drops to his knees to thank Jesus whenever he makes a good play. Tebowing has come into the American English lexicon as the act of dropping to one knee and bowing your head in humble prayer, a la Tebow.
