New function for the bozo-system?

Hey there moderators!

I'm just wondering if there's possible to get some kind of function that makes it possible to un-bozo yourself from peoples' bozo-lists. I've been put on some bozo-lists lately (4) and it's not very fun, I can tell you that.

I would also like a function that makes me able to find out who put me on bozo-list, so I can write them a letter or something and ask them why they did that.

The Bozo new [re: bulletprooffaces]

A brief guide to bozoing

. . . or to summarise, all you need to do to amass bozos, apparently, is to annoy Stu.

I tried looking for Twister's quote which ran along the lines of 'the more bozos you have, the cooler you are,' or words to that effect; but essentially the point is that the more interesting posters write against the grain, not caring whether or not they upset Labycrotchlady or whoever.

Posters who fade into the background obviously have fewer bozos, though amazingly Claude has made around 6,500 posts and is completely bozo-free. So I guess if you can somehow manage to eliminate the English language from your posts, rather like Claude, then you run little risk of offending anyone. Well, that, and everyone wants to look at his porn threads.

You know, I've been here for about 3 1/2 years now, and I've been bozoed once. I thought I was much more obnoxious than that. But it happened a while back, and hasn't changed...

Maybe I've been spending too much time at the Ghetto and that's why I'm no longer obnoxious enough to warrant bozoing. Or maybe you're all just laughing at me behind my back.

Yes, that's right karmastarman, apparently (or should that be allegedly?) all bozoing is done by me (presumably even the 5 I've got myself) and no one else, though the fact that I can read your thread would seem to negate that assertion. Had you been here more than five minutes you would know that I used to bozo people but have quit doing that, preferring to employ dignified silence as a means of expressing disapproval.

Now in the old days I would probably have bozoed you in a New York minute, what with your posts that have a predominantly homophobic undertone and all those nasty Have you ever shagged a chicken while your grandma took pictures? threads. But I’m above all that now. I am an ex-bozoer.

Nope. See my profile. Lived there for a total of 20 years (the first 18 and then two more after graduation from University). Most of my family is still there and I drive back at least a couple of times a year.

There should be a function for undoing the mass-posting of a series of stupid threads. I bozo people when I get too annoyed with their posts - especially if they flood the boards. The "Have you...as an adult" series was clearly such a case; it was just irritating, I found it very distracting to find them there when I read the boards. But I removed the bozo now since the wave of inane Karmastarman threads seems to be over.

Basically because if I decide I don't want to read any more threads about our fallen hero astronauts or whatever, I shouldn't have to hold a fucking press conference to let everyone know. If anything, the bozo function should become *more* anonymous (as I've suggested in the past, mind you), so that no one's bozo count is visible to the public. This information serves no useful purpose other than spawning crap threads; it ought the be held between the bozoer and his/her deity of choice.

Re: New function for the bozo-system? new [re: Sysiyo]

I understand it now. Is there a way to find out who bozoed me? And will they be able to read it if I send them a private message?

Time may change me, but I can't change time

People who bozo you aren't worth your time and people who judge you by how many bozoes you have are also not worth your time. Worry less about the people who don't like you and talk to the rest of us instead.

I started a kind of annoying bozo-thread back when I was a newbie, and I complained that I was bozoed one time, and by doing this I got bozoed five more times. Bet karma got a hell of alot more bozoing after this thread.
Can't believe I wrote that bozothread, I used to be almost as annoying as Karma.
I'm so ashamed.
I apologize.
