Today, I added another string to my bow by completing a three year computer course and now know everything there is to know about computers.
So if you're experiencing difficulties with your computers or generally want to learn more about them I'd be only too pleased to be of assistance.

When I press the @ character on my keyboard it shows this " instead. And with the £ I get #. Any solutions?

How come the @ and the £ characters in your post have typed out fine now then?

I'm using a computer at uni. The problem is with my home computer.

Right. I take it you're living in the UK? If so, it sounds as if your keyboard is set for English (American) rather than English (British).
You fucking idiot.
Click Start, then settings and click on the control panel. Click on keyboard go to language and add English (British) and set it as default.
