Not strictly true Stawie, Zasu did live for 12 years and 2 months and it was kidney failure, I didn't know that after the age of 8 in cats that their protein levels must be kept low, Zasu was a fussy eater like most cats and loved fish which of course is very high in protein, but like most pet owners you feed them what they like because they are hungry, so yes it's true that over kindness did contribute to her death, but it is a point I now avidly tell cat owners to be aware of.
