Join me in celebration! new

I think there is too much negativity around here at the moment. This is probably because I'm currently going through a rather amusing mood swing, which has rendered my attitude to pretty much the opposite end from it's usual grumpy disposition. So rather than wasting our time slagging each other off, I think we should spend a bit of time recognising the positive contributions people are making, then throw up at all the arse licking that we've just done.

Thus, I'd just like to say that this week I have particularly enjoyed reading "The God Post" created by DD74 (give 100000 monkeys a typewriterÖ), several of Strawmanís pithy comebacks and also E.J's "Why is TW so dull at the moment" and many of the excellent contributions within that post. I feel that this place is about to pick up again big style, as the cold winter nights draw in we'll all huddle around our computers seeking the comforting warmth that TW can provide.

What the hell am I talking about? I better post before my mood swings back...

I hope you are right Percy? meanwhile you get nice and cosy huddled round that coalfire toasting all that stale bread, I just hope you have a screen for the tin bath

There's too many misery guts on here these days and far too many people taking matters to heart, for pete's sake lighten up and let's have some fun.

This is a crazy but good internet forum, a tad less taking life to seriously wouldn't go amiss.

Re: Join me in celebration! new [re: Quentin]

1st answer - Because they don't race pigeons on Neptune.

2nd answer - Beats me why anybody would want to race pigeons, especially as people can't fly -- 'Less of course the pigeons are running too.

Come on what have you southerners got what we havenít, waitrose thatís it and thatís only because where to sophisticated for waitrose, some might say its because we canít afford waitroseís products but thatís just bullshit.
You Norfolk people are always going on about your churches but they donít come close to the bridges of the Tyne or the angel of the north, or Gateshead high street and we would destroy you in a fight. Iím one of the softer Geordies some might say but thatís of no consequence if Iíve got my trusted bic biro I can do some damage.

To be perfectly honest with you Percy Alan Partridge is uncannily accurate with his portrayal of Norwich/Norfolk people in two ways...

1/ BBC Radio Nofolk is dire
2/ BBC Look East local television is also dire and to a point his clothes fit the Norwich Union employee ( I'm running for cover ) I have a brother who works there mind you if you want to know when to plant your winter wheat? Norwich is the place.

Not that it's any of your business but I get off work around 2 in the morning. Then I come home, whack off to Tanya Danielle's more "alternative" works, drink a bit, torture myself by reading your prosaic farts, and eventually pass out around 5 or 6. Then I wake up about 5-7 hours later, drive to school, then work out, come home, then drive to work, where I get paid to play Grand Theft Auto.
