I am unhappy with the names of the topmost two fora. And I feel partly responsible.

I think it's a nice thing if the name of a forum is a Bowie reference; preferrably a piece of Bowie lyrics. As it is now, The News Today is really a Beatles lyric (once paraphrased by Bowie) and as far as I can tell (I even did a search), Views and Questions is not at all a reference to Daddy's artistry.

So we need to come up with really good suggestions for new names. I seem to suck at that, so I'm hoping for some help. For the news forum, I have one suggestion: Carry the news. For the VQ forum I really have no good idea at all. In fact, it was me who once resisted Adam's suggestion "A crack in the past", since I didn't think the forum had to be confined to past activities, but I now regret that since we ended up with a far less satisfactory name. I still haven't thought of a good name.

Can't think of anything for Views and Questions, but how about changing the Coffee Shop into No Control. At least it would give an idea of it's contents...

Oh, wait! Just got an idea. If Views and Questions became A Crack in the Past, then there could be another forum for speculating what Bowie's going to do in the future. That could be "Future Legend". But yes... it would be kind of silly to split the forum like that.

Or... How about Watch That Man? That would give an idea that it's anything about "that man", meaning of course Bowie.

I think we should keep David Bowie as much out of the Coffee shop as possible. If nothing else than for the sake of tradition.
