Less tards please, not more.
That would be "fewer" tards, tard.
If I could think of a good sig, I'd post.

While Sys and I had a few problems with each other, I think that we established via PMs that they weren't anything personal. I made no secret that I thought he was way too heavy-handed with his duties, but one good thing that I'll say for him is that you always knew what to expect from him.
I had excatly the same experience with Sys, we PMed and sorted out all the problems and I would call him a friend now
In reply to:
I like Sys well enough - although the fact that he can't abide Hunky Dory makes him a bit suspect in my book!
That's part of Sys's charm IMO, he speaks his mind and that I do like.

Sounds like someone's trying to create some sort of rationale after the fact. This is a poor argument. You're smarter/cooler than this.
Maybe, but as I tried to explain things in a more elaborate way without success I tend to cut things shorter and easier here these days.

Hee hee! Me level headed? That's the first time I've ever been called that. But thank you for your vote of confidence Shelle. I wouldn't mind being a mod. I'm not easily offended and I can be fair if I try. But I haven't got an internet connection at home, so I'd have to do it at work, which I skive off from enough as it is.
But I definitely agreed the new mod should be a woman.

I know I am too emotive to be a moderator, I would be too unbiased on occasions
OK, I apologize, you have more self awareness than I gave you credit for.
In reply to:
That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see either some of the other moderators take a little more interest in the place, or a couple of new ones to take some of the burden
I hear you.
The last day or two have convinced me the current mods are falling down on the job, and we need new ones.
I like dogs. You always know what a dog is thinking. It has four moods. Happy, sad, cross and concentrating. Also, dogs are faithful and they do not tell lies because they cannot talk.

No, lady, that would be the sound of a rather obvious joke sailing way over your head.

Please re-write that in something resembling the English language if you want me to answer your question. I'm not joking, I really can't understand what you're trying to say this time.
And please bitch slap yourself for me.

Could just be that you have faulty logic backing your point. Not every position is sucessfully debatable for a very good reason.

I've got a digital camera. What would you all say to a thread devoted to pictures of my digital penis?
