No, if it weren't for you we would have consisted of mainly French and Spanish people and seeing as how international relations was going at the time, we would have been just as annoyed and probably just as at war with you - and it probably would have gone a hell of a lot better. And let's not forget the Dutch, they would have been a big part of our makeup as well.

This is way too far into playing the "what if game" for me. But my guess is that we would have been split between Spain and France with a little Dutch thing going on somewhere. Still, I don't think the issue of independance would have been a big one since very few people who were sent by these empires had any promise or desire to stay and create wealth for themselves.

Spain presents some problems, but seeing as how America has so thoroughly fucked up all of the other former colonized areas it's hard to say what it would be like here "if it weren't for you."

While you have presented some knowledge of who was here at the time, your theories about what it would actually have been like are faulty. Actually, they are just bad as usual. But they resemble logic if one doesn't actually think about it.

I can tell you that we would probably be far less industrialized, which isn't a bad thing. But don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of the revolution. If I were there at the time and I were asked to support the movement knowing what I know now, I'd probably have to flip a coin to decide.

Upon further thinking about the issue, it's entirely possible that if you hadn't have been here and if you had played your internaional cards right, you could have pretty much taken all of Europe while the colossal failure of the colonies bled everyone else dry. But again, that's all way to "what if" for me to support terribly well.

In this case yes, as it is a technical matter which is not necessarily part of the secret mod knowledge.
