One big plus of BowieClone (so named because of the homogeneity of its membership) is that the fora guidelines are very visible. The guidelines themselves are total arse, mind, as is evident through the banning of EJSunday (one of the most pacific and level-headed TWers) after six posts. Indeed, the guidelines are so constraining that it seems that even cold-blooded debating is barred, suggesting that the mods have serious 'issues'. Mix and match the posts and usernames and no one would be able to link post and poster.

Except that Claude still sticks out like a sore penis. Er . . . thumb, sorry.

Anyway, 'Madman', iirc, is female, which may account for the 'issues' I described, and explain why she's so triggerhappy. Perhaps it's that time of the month and she's issuing in abundance?

This reminds me of the Mr. Show opening where David finds out that Bob's Grandpa Timmy is old, thus making Bob "part old," and thus a liability in "the coming age war."

There follows a sketch of a world run by old people, with "nice things, for the nice people" - which includes hard candy dishes at every street corner, mandatory 8 MPH speed limits, and, of course, testicular electrocution for the rapscallions.

Of course, I can't find it on YouTube.
