The cheese forum new

I feel there should be a forum where honest God fearing Bowie fans can discuss their favourite cheeses. Whether it be Chedder, Lancashire creamy or even BabyBell, the fact there is nowhere to discuss yummy cowproducts is a disgrace that I demand be rectified as soon as possible. If this isn't dealt with in a timley and prompt fashion, I shall construct weapons made out of cheese wax and go on a psycho cheese killer frenzy. Beware! Udder destruction will follow me!!!

I once moderated a forum about cheese.

Before you say antyhing, NO, I'm not interested in being mod of TW's cheese forum. My previous experience didn't end well.

Most of what we do is cheesy new [re: Persilot]

The hardest thing about being lactose intolerant is not being able to enjoy fine cheese very often. Sometimes I just consume massive amounts of Lactaid and go for broke. Yesterday I had some gruyere that was perfectly heavenly.

Sometimes I feel the need to move on. So I pack a bag and move on.

Re: The cheese forum new [re: Mxy]

I like cheese but unfortunately I have to love it in moderation. It leaves me feeling icky later and sometimes constipated.

On the subject, though, there are many cheeses that I like but especially sharp cheddar, mozzarella, montery jack(mexican food), and swiss(with mushrooms, its almost perfect). There are also too many cheeses that go good with crackers or toast like brie and gouda. I'm also a fan of bleu cheese dressing for salads.

That are not too many cheeses I recall that are bad but there is one in particular that does not play well with my tongue. I don't know if American cheese is technically cheese, but I am not a big fan of that. I guess on cheeseburgers and chili dogs it is ok but that is it. By itself, it's tasteless, oily, and has a weird, almost rubbery texture. Not good, my friends.

Re: The cheese forum new [re: Persilot]

I've always been a cheese fanatic. You know how kids eat weird stuff by itsself? Like, salt, butter, ketchup, the like.. I was like that with cheese, even melted cheese. And for one reason or another, I sometimes completely lose my appetite for days at a time (it always comes back with avengeance) and milk and mild cheeses are the two sure things I can muscle down.

I've never met a cheese I didn't like, but big props up to:

Mozzarella
Brick
Provolone
Pepper Jack
Asiago
and Gorgonzola

Forgive them, for they know not what to eat new [re: Persilot]

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! You guys are pathetic. All that's been mentioned so far is more insipid than an old bar of soap.

Seriously, you all need to spend time in France and try the real things:

You can take your stinky French cheeses and stick them where the sun don't shine. Give me Cheddar, Lancashire Creamy, Stilton, Red Leicester, Wensleydale and Double Gloucester any day over your putrid French filth.

Actually what am I talking about...? I love French cheese. I'm just sick of them thinking they're the greatest cheese makers in the world. Pardon for my xenophobic rant, I love all the citizens of the world who embrace the joy of cheese.

Re: The cheese forum new [re: Persilot]

Is there a serious build-up of cheese beneath your foreskin, Percy? I think there is, and I also think you're constantly bringing up the subject of cheese because of it.

You need to get laid, young man - that would help clear the cheese, because I'd prefer to believe that the prospect of a shag would make you more hygienically aware.

Or have I got it completely wrong and you are sexually active and you've recently caught a dose of thrush?

And that isn't a cue for a yoghurt forum.
