Promoting ethnic diversity new

Due to recent controversial discussion on the TW fora about possible racism and in order to bring us more closely in line with EU regulation 117743366855655111777333997653366 (The Representation of Ethnic Bowie Fans Act), I think we should take the following steps.

1) We should celebrate our ethnic diversity by creating a new forum called "It takes all sorts" into which we celebrate and rejoice our different religions and cultures. Working together to promote a peaceful and purposeful environment we can break down the barriers that separate us from each other and join together in celebration. In this forum we'll post pictures, images, shared discussion of our favourite foods, pastimes and religious ideas. Much like the coffee shop, but better.

2) A new moderator should be appointed to positively discriminate the forums. Their job will be to read through the many posts of TW and if they find a comment or jibe that reflects negatively on the shared community, flip it around to turn it into a positive comment. E.g... "I hate Chinese people" becomes "I love Chinese people".

3) A new recruitment drive to encourage more ethnic minorities into the community. In fact a new regulation should be introduced to ensure that every 2 in 10 posters posting on the board is non-white. Through positive discrimination and some aggressive poster campaigns we too can achieve racial harmony.

If we implement these actions soon enough I'm confident we can fight the growing wave of racism and bitterness and bring our messageboard into a brighter and better future.

Perhaps something like this...?

My apologies to Monkeyboy for the theft of his image, but I felt if a pro-diversity campaign was to succeed it would require a stalwart from the TW community (someone with their own custom title and who people respect) to put over the positive image of racial harmony we desire. You are one of the good ones after all...

I can sing a rainbow... new [re: Persilot]

It's a good start but doesn't really start to really hint at the real cultural diversity of TW. We need to add Starlite, Wraith2 and myself and our decentralised non-possesive communal union, along with our adopted rainbow family of children. That could be offset with Strawman and dd74 at one of their regular jaunts to a Nazi recreation jamboree and Stu playfully chasing young children who don't know who he is around a park.

Love is in the air! new [re: Persilot]

Why stop at ethnic diversity? Shouldn't diversity be a bit more diverse?

What about fags? They have the most difficult time of all assembling into the Bowie culture, am I right? Do they not make up the fan base that seems to be met with the most disbelief and adversity? Heck, I'll admit it.. I've even caught myself unprovokedly rolling a queen in a public toilet for singing "China Girl" every month or so, and then I stop and I think.. Why? What did Juice Box ever do to me? And, how would I like it if people came to my glory hole and started mercilessly beating me with a tennis shoe?

The ideals of tolerance need to be instilled, over and over again, almost superfluously, for them to really take hold. Therefore, I have a beauty idea... I propose we start a daily inspirational comic strip.. Maybe ziggfried could help us here?

It's the perfect antidote to the venomous destruction spewed forth by Fred Phelps and his conflagration of hate-mongers. A jovial, supportive, peace-promoting character, who knows how to spread a good message in a limitedly-fun way! He's the kind of guy who eats sunflower seeds and craisins at 3-day Jam Band festivals in the hills of Kentucky, wears tie-dyed skull caps with Grateful Dead emblems on them, absorbs more THC than Snoop's perm, and drives an hour and a half out of his own chiefly white, middle-upper crust neighborhood every morning to teach Ceramics to underpriviledged black kids in an inner-city ghetto. His name is...
Fred Helps...

Fred Helps could be accompanied always buy a big group of bikers, river-dancing bikers.. who would spellbind protestors like this with their nimble dance moves, subduing them into a docile, bewildered trance-like state -- pictured here:

And, then they'd cunningly replace their signs with slogans of empowerment! ..What say you? Tell me this doesn't make you feel better, already!

Nope! You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

You really are Dogz aren't you?

I mean really the real thing, the annoying fucktard known as diamondogz74.

Q: What's the difference between Michael Jackson and a plastic bag?
A: One is made of plastic and is dangerous to kids, while the other is used to carry your groceries home.

NO!!! Not even close. Sorry to disappoint you.

I say ban him as a precaution [re: K]

As usual...

That's the only explanation I'm willing to accept, K. I refuse to believe that there is another more hopelessly lost and confused soul roaming this planet than he...

Errrrrr.. DOGZ you are only emphasizing the irrational hatred in me for all that is Gay, and that was not the intention of this noble cause!
