I have been thinking that we'd need a third moderator, as the current mod squad aren't here all the time (and contrary to the popular belief, neither am I). This thread is for you, the good folk of TW, to give your views on 1) whether or not we need an additional mod and 2) if we do, who should it be (no nominating yourself).

Are there only two of you?? I knew Adam had handed in his, but aren't EJHitler and ohramona still hovering over our every post wondering if there's a viable excuse to delete?

I don't think there's really a need though. The main reason I unbozoed Tristan is so I'd have four posts a day to read here rather than three.

On the other hand, two's an awkward number. If you guys disagreed over something, you'd need a deciding vote. So maybe you should appoint a new one, or at least get rid of the other one that you haven't killed yet.

I really couldn't be bothered creating an alter to nominate myself (nice work though, Prism) so I'm just saying that if you want a third, or a fourth, or a quarter, or whatever, then clearly I should be mod. I'm here during those long European nights when you and Hitler are tucked up in your beds dreaming of Aryan supremacy.

But more importantly, it would mean I could ban Tristan the next time he annoys me rather than simply bozoing him.

But more importantly (yes, Emil, I know I just said that, but I thought of another one, so just chalk another one up to the Shelle is an ass count), if I was mod #3, you'd be my boss!

Two moderators (ohro and EJ), one admin (me). And contrary to the popular belief, more moderators doesn't automatically mean more deleted posts. But it does ensure that during times when moderation is actually needed (such as a full-scale Dogz onslaught) the problem can be dealt with as quickly as possible.
