Seriously. How does the TW messageboard still exist? Does the advertising revenue ensure that it is self perpetuating? Otherwise someone, somewhere must have a small amount of money coming out of their bank account every now and then. Why would they chose to continue paying for a website that hasn't been updated in years and a messageboard with about 3 people left posting?
Is there some mysterious benefactor whose only role is to keep this place going?

The place seems to be running swifter than shit off of a hot shovel which suggests the site is in pretty fine fettle, so more's the pity it's barely used anymore.
I realise people are preferring to use Facebook, but it simply isn't the same as the message board concept.
I'm not sure even activity on the Bowie front would kick-start TW.
How fucking absurd is it that people still pay to use the official site?

I agree. I much prefer the format of this message board to using facebook or indeed any other forum. After all, you are never going to get away with saying some of the shit you can in here on facebook.
The board works fine, it's simply lost the human component.
