Three different live versions of My Death have been released, one on Santa Monica '72, one on Rarest One Bowie, and one on Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture. Bowie also played versions on different occasions (such as the 1. Outside tour) which have never officially been released.
However, David Bowie never recorded a studio take of My Death.
I hope that I can say the things I wish I'd said.

There's also the bootleg doing the rounds of the version of My Death from Bowie's 1973 ITV appearance on The Russell Harty show.
I know when to go out and when to stay in. Get things done

Yes i know all the above 'live' versions, just get the feeling it would of been recorded around 1972/73, even as a demo?

I think it's very probable that Bowie cut a demo version (presumably in the Ziggy sessions). However, all we have is speculation as (to my knowledge) there is no mention of a studio version of My Death. It's not on any bootlegs, for a start. Maybe, if we ever get that rarities set, the track (if it exists) will see the light of day.

...however, if Twister says he never did it, then he probably didn't. Not that I immediately accept everything Twister says, but the statement was made in a determined fashion.
