Does anyone know what computer prgram was used to manipulate these images for Outside? They are interesting ...and nonetheless humours

No doubt it was Photoshop.
Maybe version 2 or 3 at the time?

I remember reading from somewhere that Bowie used a mac, because there were better programs available for it. I might be mistaking, however.

would it have been possible with any other program at that time? perhaps corel photo paint (harharhar... i am so funny i even laugh about my own gags :-P)

why using a pc? he could have reactivated his old C64 and used The Art Studio. this program is awesome, it is possible to use sixteen colours in ONE pic! this would also explain the choice of the coulours... i wonder what way he managed to get these pics into a memory of 64 KB but - hey, he's bowie, he can do magic....
