Bowie is the New Killer Star
|
|
|
I'm just waiting for the first newspaper or rock magazine to correctly refer to Bowie as the "New Killer Star."
"New Killer Star" is Bowie's latest incarnation.

You're absolutely right! Bowie is the "New Killer Star" and I really love this song.
I think Bowie has come to destroy all the stupid tumors of music industry like casting shows or whatever to reinvent music in a perfectly pure and innocent way. He's the "New Killer Star"!

If I was David Bowie I definetely wouldn`t use this picture...(typical fan choice).I would use a more recent one with a cool neck scarf and jacket.

I agree, Bowie is the New Killer Star, but I think it goes deeper than that. I think every character or personality Bowie's ever had has been the New Killer Star. It's like he's constantly finding a "better way", "discovering a star" in himself. I think the song is a story about that. But what do I know?

You wouldn't believe how insanely much I worship this quote. Or maybe you would believe, but it's better that you don't.

Yes, I know I'm not being very productive or analytical. But here's one classic Bowie incarnation. <--------------[see attachment]

I think it's probably more true to say that Iggy Pop was David Bowie's persona during the period of Lust for Life and The Idiot.

When I first heard "New Killer Star" my immediate thought was it sounded like he was saying "Nuclear Star". It seemed to me that Bowie did a play on words.

Why does everyone think everything Bowie's written since 1995 is about Outside? Oh right. Because they're idiots.
Outside is a shitty excuse for a concept album and an even shittier excuse for a Bowie album.
