Boys Keep Swinging Performance

Ok, I'm trying out for my school's talent show and for it I will be singing "Boys Keep Swinging". And I ask you this question, should I dress up for the performance, if I pass the audition?

Depends. Do you look good in drag?
I'll be appearing LIVE in Toronto April 1st. Sure, it's a David Bowie show but you're all coming to see me. More importantly, you're coming to see me in my awesome new pants.

I was thinking of doing the Thin White Duke, but my hair isn't blonde. Or Ziggy Stardust, but i don't have enough money to make the costume so, suggest which persona i should go as and i'll think about it.

Why not dress in a suit and tie like he did in the video?

I agree, that would be the best.

My vote goes to dressing up as he is in the video as well. I don't think you should mix "eras".
Give me lust, baby. *FLASH* Give me malice. *FLASH* Give me detached existentialist ennui. *FLASH* Give me rampant intellectualism as a coping mechanism. *FLASH*

You could dress as a flight attendant, as Bowie did during the Saturday Night Live performance of the song. But it will be pointless if you don't have a TV poodle robot.

He dressed like a stewardess for TVC15. For Boys Keep Swinging he held a really big wooden puppet in front of himself and danced around the stage.

I think it's a great idea to dress up! It will enhance your performance make it look a lot better. But I agree that you should dress up as Bowie did in the video, and not try to mix personas around.

I wouldn't do that because He performmed "TVC-15" in The flight attendant's outfit. He was a puppet in the "Boys Keep Swinging" performance

Well, regardless, I think the stewardess uniform would be an OK idea.

I reckon you should wear a long pink/gold shimmery dress, and a long wig. Talent contests are all about glamour, dahling.
