I once played this song and Amlapura (Indonesian version) for an Indonesian friend of mine. Of the two, she told me that the delivery of this song is much closer to the softly spoken style of the Indonesian language. I shall email her and see if we can get a direct Indonesian to English translation of these lyrics. Thanks for posting them.

How closely do they compare with the English lyrics? As you can see, the Mandarin version of Seven Years In Tibet is quite different in many parts, so it'd be interesting to see if the same applies here.
