DEAD ANTS. Put on your red shoes and kill the ants. RED ANTS. Under the moonlight, the terrible moonlight.

Andy Warhol: I used to always omit the "t" in cement...
Amlapura: "Smoking gun and space men" made me so much happier.
Moonage Daydream: Never really heard the comma in "The church of man, love / Is such a holy place to be..."
Ashes to Ashes:
In such an early song > It's such a lovely song
I've loved all I've needed to love -> I've loved and I've needed love Sordid details following -> Sordid details fall away and I Ain't got no money and I ain't got no hair -> And I thank God all my men are lying on all hell
Thru These Architect's Eyes: I always remember "All the joy I see" as "All the promise I see" for some reason.
...I think that's all the interesting ones. Blurp.

i always thought it was isnt that neat too! and i have been listening to that album since it first came out as a record!
i kind of liked the sarcasm in, "isnt that neat." man i so love that song.
anyway heres another that alot of people did too but it was unintentional.. my daughter always thought suffragette city was "dont lean on me man you're a california chicken" from the time she was little until she was about 13 and was shocked that it wasnt. she still sings it california chicken anyway. but that's probably a common one too..

Oh! One important one I forgot --
Quicksand -- "I'm frightened by the total goal," I always hear as "I'm frightened by the tollbooth gnomes."
I really do like the latter one better, but it's a great song either way...

In Sweet Thing, I keep hearing: "Coke, boys, is a cheap thing....." instead of: "'cause hope, boys, is a cheap thing......" Everytime. Damn.

I thought it was turn and face the strange, too, but leading into the chorus. Turn and face the strange changes.
There are a LOT more but one I just noticed yesterday (not a Bowie song) is "Boys of Summer." I always thought the line was after the POISON summer is gone...which really makes no sense...since Boys of Summer is the damn title....whatever.
I didn't eat today, and I'm not gonna eat tomorrow -- cos I'm gonna be a supermodel.

I do not come to the Interpretation forum ever because I thought it was too egghead for me! But oh Wow! This thread is funny!
I hope nobody said this one because I could not read them all! Did anybody ever hear that song that goes **Shave my wife I'm going down for the last time**?
"People say, how can I help on this war against terror? How can I fight evil? You can do so by mentoring a child; by going into a shut-in's house and say I love you."

Oh I am so sorry!! All those explanation points looked quite dumb!!?!
I do not remember the name of that song. It is very old. Like from the 70's.
