It's far more interesting to read opinions as to Bowie's worst collection of songs as opposed to his best, which tends to be fairly predictable. To my mind, some of the songs listed on this thread are simply staggering. I'm certain that many singers and groups would give anything to have songs such as The Bewlay Brothers, Quicksand, After All, Be My Wife, Sound And Vision and Blackout in their musical catalogue. Having said all that, though, I suppose my list is largely predictable stuff.

joethelion84--i disagree with you. across the universe is the only song on young americans that i skip. i was never fond of the original, and Bowie's remake does absolutley nothing for me.

I don't know about songs, but I do know that Bowie's acting in 'Basquiat' was shockingly bad.

He should stick to music instead.
