the first is extremely sexy
the second is of bad quality so not much can be done there
the third looks like severus snape
the fourth is cool
the first is really neat
the sixth kinda looks like he's about to sneeze
the seventh is very nice and thin white dukish - but he has gained weight since then..
the eighth is simply angelic
the ninth somehow reminds me of New York City

no its not it was a picture that booie took (in a hotel?) for a journal entry on booienet last year sometime methinks- in fact i think it was the picture that tati posted and got into trouble for because alot of booienet members complained that tw couldnt see it cos we didnt pay for it, then evan/tati or adam deleted it cos of the crappy complaints

Those Beachrock pictures are mine and can be found on my website, and possibly on davidbowie.com if you search really hard. I don't really appreciate them being spread around/reproduced without my permission though. You could at least be so kind to put up a link, or a photo credit.

Also, ASAIK, the 77 tour was listed without DB's name, so those audiences must have been given quite a shock when they looked over to the keyboard player. And since it was before the days of internet, word may still not have been known by the end of the tour.
I believe there is only the Dinah Shore Show, and some silent footage of the tour that currently exists as documentation of the tour. There is silent footage in the Iggy Behind The Music, which l'm guessing is out of DB's personal collection.

I saw "The Idiot Tour" in London, at Rainbow Theatre.
I was very excited to see Bowie playing keyboards and backing vocals! Many people was there only for him!

I can assure you i already had them on my pc, haven't you ever posted them before? I have got 18.000 bowie pics on my pc, so it 's impossible to remember where i got them from. Just like the one of Bowie and Iman from holidays in Brazil (1997) which Claude (? I think ) said that we haven't seen it before. I had that one too but don't know where i got it from.

Funnily enough the date of acquiring the photos from the internet according to my pc is wednesday 31th December 2003, so somebody must have put them on some site or other earlier than that date.

Claude, your first pic is a real treat for me, I had been looking for it on the internet but could not find it. I got it on an article (announcing Bowie's plans to play the 'elephant man' back then) but never saw it on the internet or being published again. I have found photos from the same session but this one was the best. I love it. Thank you.

The ABC press pic must be around 76-77. This hair looks like this (colour and length) and this was when he did the sessions for Low, so it could be then.
The kid is Douncan, who probably could swim when his dad couldn't.

David could not swim until the mid eighties when a friend helped him learn how to swim. I remember I had read an interview in 87 where he said that he learnt to swim ''last year'' and was enthusiastic about it. He never became a good swimmer though as he nearly got drowned in the sea some time later. He said he was saved by somebody and never tried to swim again. I don't know if this has changed nowadays.

I love that picture of Bowie with CIlla Black and Cliff Richard - not seen it for a long time....it just makes you realise what Bowie could have turned into if he'd contiuned with his ambition to become a 'music hall family entertainer'.
