I have said it elsewhere on here but the transition from time will crawl to baby can dance is the difining moment on the new box set for me.

It still needs more tracks off NLMD!

Let the Never let me down revival start here!!!
Will we have to wait for 2017 to get Too Dizzy, Girls and Julie on the 30th anniversary edition?

There will never be such an edition. But they could have included Girls and perhaps the extended dance mix of Never Let Me Down the song in the recent S+V.

my last post was tongue in cheek, but seriously, why was Too Dizzy deleted?
Is it any worse than Shining Star?

I actually rather enjoy Shining Star, but Too Dizzy really was atrocious. It reminded me of the Bill Cosby Show theme, except that it was worse and had horrible lyrics.

Point taken. It is a shame though that there are far too many songs which are almost impossible to get hold of new.
Ok if you wanna pay loads you can get the originals, but this stuff should be available for everyone.
I can't believe I've seen STAGE on CD for 80 on Ebay.
For a standard issue cd that should still be on catalogue, surely EMI would prefer to see some of this money going into their coffers.

I've found that vinyl is a good way of getting the old stuff... I played 2 for a vinyl copy of NLMD and got to hear Too Dizzy, and a little under 20 for a vinyl Stage. Of course, I have access to machinery with which one can burn tracks from vinyl onto CD...

Re: Prices May Vary According To Location new [re: Sysiyo]

Yeah I've got it all on vinyl, and most on cd, I bought Hunky Dory and TMWSTW on RyKO on Clear virgin vinyl, 20 a time when they came out and they are beautiful. I bought Stage when it came out on cd. It must be very frustrating to someone just starting their collections now though.

Oh and apologies to mrs gravedigger this thread has really meandered off the course. Buddah is the Jewel in Bowie's crown, an unknown pleasure.
