I have never sat through an entire Grammy show before, but did so this time (VCR at the ready) to check out Prince, White Stripes, EWF/Outkast/RRFB/CLINTON and Outkast via Andre. I was not disappointed. White Stripes appeared to change course spontaineously. I swear he called the next song to her, anyone else catch that? The funk nation fest was worth the wait. So was "Hey Ya" with marching band.

I was thrilled the satellite compression apprently was hosed for Celine. I had most of the other performances muted.

Don't know who won what, don't care. It seems the Grammy winners are determined by sales, eventhough they don't cop to that. I hadn't realized they'd been going just over 40 years, as in they began right around the time Elvis was bringing in the dough with The Beatles soon to follow.
