In reply to:
But surely you did'nt have the DVD content did you?
Actually I did, twice. In 1993 it was shown on the Disney channel here in the States and I recorded it. Later that year it came out commercially on video tape and I bought it. Now with the DVD I have 3 copies.

Im left wondering why the American release of BTWN special edition was so highly priced?
At $31.99 it was a much better buy than Club Bowie at $22.99. 2CDs + DVD compared to 1CD. I'm more curious as to why it came out here 6 months later than in Europe. Being the great super power that we are, aren't we supposed to get things first.
If you don't have anything nice to say, go to London and say it in front of 2000 people. NM.

Lucky you with it being on the Disney channel all those years ago, When you compare it to the dreadful ( in my umble opinion Club Bowie ),I can see your reasoning very well. I really did'nt enjoy buying Club Bowie, But its in the set now i guess?. It duznt even resemble a Bowie album,Its loud and cheap.

So you are actually telling me?, That you consider"Pinups","The Man Who Sold The World",Hunky Dory"and indeed "Reality"all rubbish?,I am most surprized at this Sys.
Oui, that is precisely what I'm telling you. Apart from a precious few good tracks off those four albums, they're completely, utterly, totally rubbish.
Most TWers, I think, knew my opinion on this matter already.

Anyone who commits themselves as an appreciator of Bowie's work and goes on to regard 'The Man Who Sold The World' & 'Hunky Dory' as inferior works is either being derisive or a complete and utter tool.
Sysiyo?
I suggest that you are a tool.
And that's being polite.
