Yes, its Nature Boy, from the Moulan Rouge ST. I cannot from the top of my head remember who sung the original. But Bowie did a reasonable job of this recent song.

The Moulin Rouge soundtrack included two versions of Nature Boy, one by Bowie and one by Bowie with Massive Attack. The song by Beck is a cover of Diamond Dogs. You can find more information about the album here.

Yes, Beck performs Diamond Dogs and it is simply fantastic. One of the top 10 Bowie covers I've heard by a high profile artist.

The characters - Christian and Satine - also perform "Heroes" as part of the Elephant Love Medley. It segues into - believe it or not - I Will Always Love You (the Dolly PArton/Whitney Houston song).

I haven't watched it for ages now, but I watched that film about six times in a week when the DVD came out, I absolutely loved it, and yes Tristan I agree about the Elephant love medley.
I have a secret admiration for spectacular spectacular too.
