those moves[double cringe]...
Well... Generally, when ever Bowie tries to "dance", it kind of makes me cringe. But then, actually it's kind of cute. I think his horrible dancing routines just make him seem more human.
Speaking of which... What IS that hand thing he does? When he raises one hand and then bends over and touches the ground. I've been watching a few Bowie-videos lately and I've seen it in quite many of them. When did it start, and when did it stop? I mean, I don't remember him doing it on Reality tour (I'm not sure, though), and I don't remember seeing that move in the Ziggy Stardust Motion Picture. But anyway... It's so weird.

The Laughing Gnome and most of that sorta stuff, you will never find me playing it loud on my council estate. I know Tony loves the 60s stuff but there is very little of it I can listen to.
Give it time Mike you're only 18 I'll wager that as you get older you will simply adore Bowie's 60s material, NO matter where you live
Just throw open those bedroom windows and let the public hear Mr Bowie singing " She's Got Medals"

I just might take that advice, Tony! I'm always looking for ways to piss off the neighbors!

There's not much to be honest but one thing that always makes me cringe is the ending of the "China Girl" video where he's romping around naked in the waves, that is just SO not David Bowie.
I agree, Tony. He has WAY more class than that.
He's here, the Phantom of the Magic Pants!

Thanks! How far did you have to dig to find that? Well, anyway, it was really interesting to hear that Kether to Malkuth -interpretation of that move. From the videos I somehow got the impression it was just some eighties thing... But yeah, thanks for digging up that thread

Talking of the Laughing gnome, I notice he is doing backing vocals on the new Akon single, Lonely.
What shall we do to fill the empty spaces?
