Which is a shame. How do I express my broad range of feelings with so few symbols ?
I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.

Scandinavians on this board are really sweet.
Well... I'm still not dumping my boyfriend, but he doesn't need to know about us, does he?
By the way, this must be the smiley you were looking for

Well, I'll be in Denmark in a week, so maybe you could find a cheap boat to meet me there... PM me if interested.
And thanks for the smiley, it should be useful in the near future.

The lesson learned here is that we should live in the late 60's, when Finnlines maintained a passenger service between Helsinki and Copenhagen.

We were born to late... I so wanted a thousand babies with LadyGD. I'll have to resort to a local girl, which is very bad for mankind's gene pool.

Really? I've never heard of... although... When I think of it, it's possible my mom's travelled on a ship like that. Not sure though.

The service was started in 1966 when Finnlines got bigger ships for their Helsinki-Lübeck route, and the old ship (Hansa Express) was re-named Finndana and transferred to the Helsinki-Copenhagen route. The route didn't fare very well, and the service was terminated in 1969.
I've heard that Finnish Steamship Company (FÅA/EFFOA) maintained a service to Copenhagen at some point as well, but they certainly didn't after the 60's.
