Which Bowie songs do you think are the saddest?

I think Conversation Piece is the saddest for me, also Ashes to Ashes, Letter To Hermoine, An Occasional Dream, Teenage Wildlife.
I think Young Americans and Outside for me, are the saddest albums.

i don't see how teenage wildlife is sad. and conversation piece is the saddest bowie song.

Word on A Wing - It sounds so lonely and desperate. Fantastic Voyage - Is sad in a funny kind of way, It's crying for peace.

I think there is a sadness to all of the man's work... that's what gives it the quality we all love. Minor chords sprinkled over his melodies. Even his most cheerful songs have a reflective quality that you can spend a while inside... pondering.
