The albums I am most listening to at the moment are "Outside" and "Heathen".
Outside is the closest Bowie album I've ever heard next to an opera, magnificent, cannot be topped IMO.
Heathen, yes wonderful of course and the closest we'll ever get to having Toy released.
I'm skipping the so called Berlin trilogy and going straight to Scary Monsters today
Damn I wish STS was longer.

Which program do you use to do that??
I have a programm called Maximum Copy which deals nicely with not copy protected DVDs. Unfortunately it doesn't work with proteced ones like the "Reality" live DVD. But as I have a CD recorder (it's like a tape deck but records on CDs) I recorded the Audio Out from the DVD player with it and then ripped the new CD to mp3s with iTunes. A little clumsey but definitely worthwhile with those fabulous tracks.

FastChanges: I'd like to recommend Xilisoft DVD Audio Ripper, it's very easy to use.
Does it crack copy protection?
In reply to:
dd74: So this fault on yours EJ, was it like the other members stated... It kept crashing and the wheel became jammed.
It only crashed once with a totally fucked hard drive.
And I want to believe that a light's shining through somehow

Just got my Deram Anthology from Half.com in today. You can't do much better than $3. Perfect condition too. Anyhoo, that's going to be living in my boom box for the next week or so.
Don't dream it, be it.

The fun thing with Carsten is that he posts only about twice a week, but always manages to be at the same time utterly arrogant and completely boring.
The good thing is that he can be bozoed without making every thread unreadable.

Can I be in your living room please? you got that very cheaply, well done, I always find that an album too really take seriously, It's a wonderful foretaste of what's to come.

Great idea Claude, I was pondering on what to hear today, the main reason for this thread really, to encourage us to maybe hear some Bowie albums we wouldn't normally hear.

Arrogance and boredom are certainly no apparent features in that very post of yours. Not at all. It is interesting, informative, full of humor and kind modesty.

If I didn't have German friends in real life, I would think you're only a bunch of cold and useless twats.

You are not really arguing well in your own case, I'd say.
