I have you to thank for giving me the inspiration

So today thanks to EJs album verses thread, I'm hearing NLMD.

Oddly enough I never play many Bowie compilation discs, well only when I'm feeling very lazy.

Re: Same Style As Before new [re: FastChanges]

I've been listening to a lot of alternate versions and their "official" versions lately. I'm kinda comparing them all and finding out which versions, sometimes mixes, I like most.

Right now I'm listening to Battle For Britain (The Letter). Great song! Next up is Law (Earthlings On Fire). I think I'm on a Earthling kick at the moment.

Another change of scenery new [re: Bamboo7]

I think I just overdosed on the Deram Anthology. I need to take a break...

Don't dream it, be it.

Have you ever heard The Fogotten Songs of David Robert Jones?

Now, Reality on DVD, the live version is better than the studio one.

I like both versions Claude, but yes it's nice to see him live as such.

I'm now off to give Pinups a spin, feeling in a real 1960s mood today.

The Forgotten Songs Of David Robert Jones
(SPQR Records SPQR5CD), 1997 (Germany)

That's A Promise/Silly Boy Blue (demo)/Love You Till Tuesday (demo)/Over The Wall We Go/When I Live My Dream (demo)/Let Me Sleep Beside You/Karma Man/Threepenny Pierrot/Columbine/The Mirror/When I Live My Dream/In the Heat of the Morning/London Bye Ta Ta/Life Is A Circus/Lover To The Dawn/Love Song/Little Toy Soldier/Waiting For The Man/Rupert The Riley/Buzz The Fuzz/Right On Mother/Lady Stardust.

From the tracklisting it immediately transpires that this is a bootleg, but for unknown reasons this CD was available through retail channels that normally do not sell bootlegs
